MPGL game stats. Full version will be released soon
The first MPGL tournament in DotA was full of surprises as this is the first tournament to incorporate in game statistics via a host server bot. This will be the basis for special prizes for specific players once the 10-month long tournament concludes.

- Pmski. The first all female team joins MPGL
Additionally the tournament will release specific team pages for all participants which can be viewed on the website. On the play day of the tournament different teams from Metro Manila and as far as Pampanga flocked on the two venues to participate on this prestigious event. Veteran and rookie teams alike faced each other in the said event making this tournament a grand stage for professional gamers here in the country.
Rookie Teams rise to the challange
Here are the top 8 teams ranked on the two-day tournament
- Pag-ibig 1 (Champion)
- Mineski (Runner-up)
- Prime 2
- RoG
- DnC
- Prosty
- Evil Child
- Prime 1
Teams Prosty, Evil Child, DnC and RoG are all rookie teams fighting to get their teams in the top spot. Spectators and observers from the tournament were amazed at how these 4 teams were able to came up and even beat veteran teams like Prime and Happyfeet. All in all team Pag-ibig and Mineski emerged on the top spots, new captain Mski.BG01 lead Mineski on the charge for the finals with two new members in their line-up, returnee player Mski.Ranch (CandyPop) and Mski. Doc from team Prime. All the efforts of Mineski where in vain as they were denied by Pag-ibig 1 a chance to win and did justice to their sister team Pag-ibig 2 as they avenged them by beating Mineski twice. Once in the battle for the twice-to-beat slot and in the finals.
Love (Pag-ibig) makes it all possible
The veteran team from Recto, which comprises of two teams Pag-ibig 1 and 2 flocked on the play day expecting to win and dominate the first round of the event. However they were much more surprised when they cruised easily in into the finals especially that they just had a new member, i <3 Mao from their roster. The team bagged Php 15,000.00 and goodies from GArena and Mineski Management.
Statement ofJessie Cristy "Vashie *" Cuyco:
“Siguro kaya kami nanalo sa Mineski na out-pick namin sila, doon sa quarter finals unexpected nila yung Omniknight, doon naman sa finals nadale namin yung mid nila with Lanaya. Na mind games ni Cast si Bong = ). Natupad na ang pangarap namin na manalo sa Mineski = )”
Now that the first month of MPGL is over, who will reign in the next month? Two more games are approaching their playdates COD4 and SC….stay tuned
