As can be noticed the cod4 gaming community is dying for a lot of reasons and in line with that i just want to say that if we cannot cope with the usual gaming rules and regulations with regards to how a cod4 tournament should be organized why cant we ourselves make a different kind of tournament which could cope with the small community we have, like having 1v1 2v2 or even 3v3 competitions or free for all tourneys and the like. Promod is a mod used for official tournaments but heck if the majority wanted it not to be promod so be it, it still takes skill and it does not mean that if you play in promod you are considered a "pro" there are a lot of good pub players in mg who just doesnt think they have a shot at winning but if given the chance im pretty sure they would like to try.
