Meet Asia’s Best Heroes Evolved Team

The five-man Thai roster of Mercenary was crowned as the grand champions of the Heroes Evolved Championship 2017 Asia Grand Finals after defeating Luminous at the Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit, yesterday.
Over the weekend, mobile gamers flocked over to the Heroes Evolved booth at ESGS to experience the mobile game sensation and join in on fun activities. R2 Games, a global online game publisher that specializes in Free-To-Play mobile and browser games, presented Bruce Lee appreciation events, exclusive giveaways, and a 10,000 PHP Community Cup.
On the final day of the convention, two of Asia’s best Heroes Evolved teams took over the ESGS main stage to finally determine which team is a cut above the other. Mercenary and Luminous went head-to-head for a best-of-five grand final.
Luminous was able to draw first blood after a flawless 6-0-6 performance from Lxs-Vivi on Lunaria. Unfortunately Luminous, their dominant start only awakened the sleeping monsters in Mercenary.
Weerachai “Jaiyenyen” Ngoenchatturat, Arin “Sento” Bunpratathong, Kreerati “Levi” Sirisith, Tanawat “Morgoth” Ngernsuti, and Wasan “L30SS” Suksathit all went on an impressive three-game rampage to shut Luminous down and claim the Heroes Evolved Champions 2017 Asia Grand Finals.
The Heroes Evolved team ended their ESGS exhibition by also awarding Dieux FT. and PowerPops, two of the strongest clans from Southeast Asia, the winners of the Community Cup.
