Get Excited For ESGS 2017!

One of the biggest gaming events in Southeast Asia is finally going to unfold this coming weekend. From October 27-29, various gaming companies, studios, and professional esports players will be at the SMX Convention Center for the Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) 2017!

Organized by Gariath Concepts, ESGS is the Philippines’ biggest gaming event which combines the elements of esports competition and gaming convention. Now on its fourth consecutive year, ESGS 2017 will feature an exhibition match between Mineski-LoL and Manila Eagles while gaming and hardware companies like Playstation Asia and HyperX exhibit their products.

In an interview with Joebert Yu, creator of ESGS, he said that attendees should expect a lot of activities happening, “for ESGS first-timers, forget that you ever knew what a gaming event looks like. Once you go here, you won’t stay in one area. You get to see many things. Imagine a carnival where you get to test rides and play games.“

In addition, ESGS will also host the Philippines’ highly anticipated tournaments for Brawlfest and Heroes Evolved. Organized by R2Games, the Asia Tournament Finals for Heroes Evolved will be done at the ESGS Main Stage on Oct. 29.

On the other hand, Brawlfest, which is organized by Playbook Esports, will happen all throughout the event. The winner for Brawlfest’s Street Fighter V tournament will get an all expenses paid trip to participate in the Evolution Championship Series at Japan!
