The International 2017 has yet to start today yet the roster shuffle has already started. One of the first to be hit was The International 2016 silver finishers, Planet Odd.
Planet Odd’s pack composed of Roman ‘Resolut1on‘ Fominok, Omar ‘w33haa‘ Aliwi, David ‘Moonmeander‘ Tan, Rasmus ‘MiSeRy‘ Fillipsen, and Martin ‘Saksa‘ Sazdov announced yesterday that they will be parting ways with their roster after failing to qualify for The International 2017.
The issue regarding the clarity of their disband got the community baffled for a while. Many thought that the Planet Odd organization just released their roster like how the squad transitioned from Digital Chaos to Thunderbirds before the start of the Kiev Major. What punctuated their journey together, however, were the tweets from the team’s members.

The roster has been through a fairly successful run. They were able to live up to their performance last The International and has been a consistent challenger in the North American region. However, what crushed them was their failure to adapt to the scene’s rising competency. Planet Odd not making it to The International 2017 marks MiSeRy’s first absence at the grand showdown.
While the annual roster shuffle has yet to start, Resolut1on has already been rumoured to be picked up by the CIS legend, Natus Vincere.
Earlier this week, Na`Vi announced that they have parted ways with Olsson ‘Pajkatt‘ Lille and their Danish carry, Malthe ‘Biver‘ Winther.
