Abc is a fairly new team of veteran Singaporean players. Most of them recently played with Meracle in the short-lived team Moogle. They weren’t very successful as a team and mostly went winless in 2017 and decided to take a different direction and thus abc was formed.
The newest name that will catch your eye in this team is Draynich. Not much is known about him but he seems to be one of Singapore’s brightest talents today. He recently played for another Singaporean team, Insidious. While his most successful hero is Tinker and Alchemist. Pub stars don’t always turn out to be great competitive players so we will have to wait and see if Draynich has what it takes.
XFreedom and Chibix have mostly gone under the radar recently. In 2017, the two barely even had of any competitive outings let alone wins. XFreedom played with hyhy in the unsuccesful White Fries Gaming before moving on to coach EVOS Esports. Chibix is similarly forgotten. After briefly standing in for Mineski-Dota in the latter part of 2016 and his time with Moogle, Chibix didn’t make any headlines.
Majority of the team seemingly have their best behind them. This is the first LAN any of these guys have had in a long time and they will have to make it count. Abc will want to win to attain the next level of respect in the scene for themselves and Singapore.
On October 26-29, abc will battle against Asia Pacific’s best Dota 2 teams for ASUS ROG Masters 2017 APAC Finals in the SM Mall of Asia Arena. You can catch them live and see if they will manage to put Singapore on the Dota 2 map.
The ASUS ROG Masters 2017 APAC Regional Qualifiers will be on October 26-29 at SMX Convention Center. Admission is free.
