343 to return as player
Fnatic Dota management has announced a change in their staff after Canadian support player, Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling, entered the Southeast Asian powerhouse as its new coach.
The announcement was revealed a day before Fnatic Dota embarks on a journey for their last Dota Pro Circuit tournament at ESL One Birmingham 2018. Aui_2000 will be coaching the team for the duration of the second-to-last Major tournament of the season.
The reunion of former teammates in Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao and Aui_2000 has also forced Fnatic Dota to bid goodbye to their former coach Adam “343” Shah. The management teased that 343 will be returning as a professional Dota 2 player, but refused to give more details.
With Aui_2000 acting as a coach and Saahil “UNiVeRsE” Arora playing as the offlaner, Fnatic Dota’s staff are now composed of two Aegis of Champions bearers.
Fnatic Dota will start their ESL One Birmingham 2018 campaign later today at 17:00 SGT against Evil Geniuses, the team that Aui_2000 and UNiVeRsE represented during their successful The International 2015 run.
