Mineski Pro Gaming picks up CS:GO team for 2016

2015 saw the rapid rise of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in the esports title hierarchy, with the Valve-sanctioned majors being some of the most-watched gaming events in the history of the field.

In anticipation of bigger things to come, the Mineski Pro Gaming Team organization has decided to greet 2016 by picking up some of the most talented individuals playing what appears to be the consensus best FPS title in the esports industry right now in order to form Mineski-CS:GO

While the team has had a facebook page floating round for a couple of months now, it wasn’t until yesterday that they made their official post revealing their roster.

L-R: DubsteP, Getziimov, Cpt. Hannibal, Dispenser, Babyboy, Yam(manager)

Asked what he felt about playing under the Philippines’ biggest esports organization, team captain Cpt. Hannibal had the following things to say: “It’s every competitive gamer’s dream (to play for such an organization). We were so overjoyed when Mineski chose us to represent their banner. Despite being excited and happy, it is [also] a very big responsibility for us to take this team to the top. This 2016 we would like to make Mineski-CS:GO Tier 1 in Southeast Asia.”

Mineski-CS:GO made their first run together last weekend, where they made it to the top eight of the IEM Taipei qualifier, despite having been formed just a few days prior.
