Heroes Evolved esports is on the rise.
R2 Games, a global online game publisher that specializes in Free-To-Play mobile and browser games, will be attending this year’s E-Sports & Gaming Summit (ESGS) happening on October 27 – 29, 2017 in the SMX Convention Center, Manila, Philippines. On top of showcasing Heroes Evolved and their many other games, the China-based company will be bringing over the final match of the Heroes Evolved Championship Asia to the annual event by Gariath Concepts.
Only the two best remain from the Heroes Evolved Championship Asia after starting with 900 strong teams earlier this year. Luminous, a squad that consists of four Indonesian players, and one from the Philippines, will be facing team Mercenary, a five-man Thai roster. The clash between Luminous and Mercenary will be part of the show floor in the SMX Convention Center later this month.
A Heroes Evolved Community Cup will also take place during the ESGS. The mini-tournament will host a total of 16 teams via on-site registration. The Community Cup will run from October 27 to 28 and will also be casted on-site.
An Evolving Game
Heroes Evolved is the latest game from R2 Games that is slowly building up its esports scene. The game is a lightweight MOBA that pits two teams of five players controlling a hero in a quest for base domination. Players select from a huge roster of 45+ characters with unique skills and attributes.
Players then earn gold, level up, and acquire powerful artifact items as they strive for victory. It doesn’t stray too far away from the traditional MOBA but it took the best elements to make a fun, user-friendly game.
R2 Games will also be giving away freebies such as ballers, lanyards, and many more during the event. Make sure to drop by at the SMX Convention Center on to check out the various exhibitions and festivities at ESGS 2017 on October 26-29, 2017!
