Two TI8 slots reserved for SEA
TNC Predator and Fnatic Dota have secured themselves a slot for The International 2018 regional qualifiers.
Despite their failure to join their Southeast Asian brothers in Mineski-Dota in the list of direct invitees for the grandest Dota 2 world championship, two of the region’s most dominant Dota Pro Circuit teams can still fight for the Aegis of Champions through the regional qualifier.
Valve released more details for The International 2018 shortly after the conclusion of the China Dota 2 Supermajor, the final Major tournament of the Dota Pro Circuit.
18 teams will fly out to Vancouver this August for the eighth iteration of The International. Eight teams will come out from the Dota Pro Circuit top eight, while ten teams will have to battle their way through the regional qualifiers.

TNC Predator and Fnatic Dota will lead the qualifier for SEA along with six squads from the open qualifiers. The top two teams that will emerge from the grueling qualifier will be given a chance to compete in The International 2018.
However, not all regions were given an equal number of main event slots. Three teams will hail from the North American qualifier, while two slots were reserved for the Chinese qualifiers. The European region, along with CIS and South America was given one slot each.
The International 2018 regional qualifiers will start on June 18 until June 25.
